Resumen
Adult neurogenesis occurs only in discrete regions of adult central nervous system: the subventricular zone and the subgranular zone. These areas are populated by adult neural stem cells (aNSC) that are regulated by a number of molecules and signaling pathways, which control their cell fate choices, survival and proliferation rates. For a long time, it was believed that the immune system did not exert any control on neural proliferative niches. However, it has been observed that many pathological and inflammatory conditions significantly affect NSC niches. Even more, increasing evidence indicates that chemokines and cytokines play an important role in regulating proliferation, cell fate choices, migration and survival of NSCs under physiological conditions. Hence, the immune system is emerging is an important regulator of neurogenic niches in the adult brain, which may have clinical relevance in several brain diseases. The glutamate ions were not intercalated into the interlayer space, but were detected in the material by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, suggesting that only the external surfaces of crystals were modified with glutamate ions. The resulting hybrid material was tested as a support for immobilization of the enzyme lacease (Myceliophthora thermophild). The immobilized enzyme preparation was characterized by electronic paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy and by assays of catalytic activity. The activity of the immobilized lacease was 97% of the activity in the free enzyme. Based on a proper smooth parameterisation of the deadzone, the unknown dynamics is identified by using a continuous time recurrent neural network whose weights are adjusted on-line by stable differential learning laws. On the basis of this neural model so obtained, a feedback linearisation controller is developed in order to follow a bounded reference trajectory specified. By means of Lyapunov analysis, the boundedness of all the closed-loop signals as well as the weights and deadzone parameter estimations is rigorously proven. Besides, the exponential convergence of the actual tracking error to a bounded zone is guaranteed. The effectiveness of this scheme is illustrated by a numerical simulation.
