ABSTRACT
This research deals with the interaction of Systems in Biomechanics, specifically the psychological dimension in the design and use of prostheses based on the Interconductual Theory, aiming at the delimitation of criteria for prosthesis development from the perspective of systems interaction. It starts from psychological criteria that complement the engineers and doctors, and that derive in specific norms of design and use of prosthetics. Additionally, profiles are suggested for the postgraduate in Mechanical Engineering in the area of Biomechanics and the implications of an interbehavioral point of view of the psychological in Bionics, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence are analyzed.
The first chapter deals with the state of the art and fundamental principles in the subject of prostheses from Medicine and Engineering, describing the formal and informal participation that Psychology has had and contextualizing the study within the framework of Theory in Viable Systems. Finally raising the general problem of research.
The second chapter describes the Interbehavioral Psychology as a comprehensive system analyzing the metatheory that supports it, the theory that explains it and the technology with which it proceeds. It includes information of the different technological uses of Interbehaviorism, in addition is reflected on the advantages and disadvantages of this position.
Chapter three raises the general research divided into three studies. The first one shows the level of knowledge that the students of the Degree in Mechanical Engineering have with respect to the subject of prostheses, the second shows the level that the graduates in Engineering, Medicine and Psychology have with respect to the subject of prosthetics, and the Third study points out the opinion of specialists in different areas regarding the psychological issues that should be addressed when designing and / or employing a prosthetic.
Chapter four explores the engineering, medical and psychological criteria used in biomechanics for the design of prosthetics, examining inter and multidisciplinary participation of Physics and Engineering, Biology and Medicine, and Psychology.
