| dc.description.abstract | Esta pesquisa enfoca as transformações decorrentes da construção da BR-101, na cidade de Itapema (SC), entre 1950-1970, que ao se deparar com as obras da rodovia, passam a ver ressignificados seus ritos, símbolos, tradições e manifestações culturais até então vivenciadas em seu cotidiano. Com a inserção da rodovia, a cidade se vê transformada e a exigência de uma nova sociabilidade passa a ser imperativa nos ritos citadinos. A transformação inferida a estas populações modificou não somente o seu cotidiano, mas a maneira como deveriam pensar-se, enquanto cidade moderna, inserida num contexto também moderno. Nessa transição vivenciada por Itapema e seus sujeitos históricos, a memória ressignifica os impactos causadas pela modernidade e reconstroem a experiência vivenciada de uma outra cidade que se configura. This research focuses the decurrent transformations of the construction of the BR-101, in the city of Itapema (SC), between 1950-1970, that to if coming across with the workmanships of the highway, starts to see its rites, symbols, lived deeply traditions and cultural manifestations until then in its daily one ressignificados.
