Este artículo argumenta que las tareas de creación de videos en línea motivan a los estudiantes para tener un comportamiento de aprendizaje autónomo. El artículo analiza cinco conductas de un estudiante autónomo, antes y después de aplicar un conjunto de tareas sobre la base de las estrategias de motivación para la autonomía a un grupo de estudiantes de cuarto grado (10 a 11 años). Las tareas se basan en tres herramientas de la Web 2.0 para la creación de videos: MashFace, Xtranormal, y Animoto. El artículo concluye que a través de un conjunto de estrategias de motivación aplicadas con las tareas mencionadas, los estudiantes mejoran una serie de comportamientos de aprendizaje autónomo.
