Análisis de la actividad portuaria en ecuador durante el periodo 2018-2020

Abstract

En el periodo del 2016 las autoridades portuarias del Ecuador firmaron contratos con empresas extranjeras a través de fuertes préstamos que estimaban millones de dólares, los cuales les dieron reconocimiento internacional y se convirtieron en fuertes competidores de la autoridad portuaria de Guayaquil, en especial del puerto Contecon. Por este motivo, la presente investigación tiene como objetivo primordial analizar las actividades portuarias en Ecuador durante los periodos 2018-2020 debido a que durante estos periodos el puerto Contecon ha disminuido su actividad portuaria en cuanto a la movilización de contenedores (TEUs). Para desarrollar la investigación se aplicó el método descriptivo con enfoque de tipo cuantitativo deductivo, además, es tipo de investigación no experimental ya que no se manipularon las variables, por lo que también se empleó la observación no estructurada como técnica de investigación debido a que se realizó una observación exploratoria entre las operaciones portuarias y analizar las que llevan mayor ventaja sobre el Puerto Contecon.

In the period of 2016, the port authorities of Ecuador signed contracts with foreign companies through strong loans that estimated thousands of dollars, which gave them international recognition and they became strong competitors of the Guayaquil port authority, especially the Contecon port. . For this reason, the main objective of this research is to analyze port activities in Ecuador during the 2018-2020 periods because during these periods the Contecon port has decreased its port activity in terms of the mobilization of TEU containers. To develop the research, the descriptive method was applied with a deductive quantitative approach, it is also a non-experimental type of research since the variables were not manipulated, so unstructured observation was also used as a research technique because it was carried out an exploratory observation among the port operations and analyze those that have the greatest advantage over the Contecon Port.
