Medidas de bioseguridad para evitar infecciones cruzadas en cirugía bucal

Abstract

Es de mucha importancia las medidas de bioseguridad que deben conocer y ponerlo en práctica al momento de cada intervención odontológica uno de ellos esla asepsia y antisepsia en cirugía bucal, al igual que existe aparatos de desinfección del área odontológica, teniendo en cuenta que es muy necesario el conjunto de elementos y procedimientos, dispuesto a establecer una barrera protectora entre el paciente y el medio externo, para poder realizar un adecuado manejo quirúrgico y no sufrir una complicación postquirúrgica. Objetivo: Establecer cuáles son las técnicas y comportamiento de bioseguridad en cirugía bucal y en el consultorio dental para prevenir infecciones cruzadas antes, durante, y después de un procedimiento odontológico. Materiales: Fueron revisados artículos de buscadores y meta buscadores: Google académico, Scielo, Redalyc, Web Of Science, PubMed y otros, a partir de palabras clave: asepsia, antisepsia, cirugía bucal. Métodos: deductivo e inductivo, descriptivo, analítico – sintético, bibliográfico – documental. Conclusión: confusión de los significados específicos de la asepsia y antisepsia al igual que las técnicas.

It is very important to know the biosecurity measures that should be put into practice at the moment of each dental intervention, one of them is asepsis and antisepsis in oral surgery, as well as the existence of disinfection devices in the dental area, taking into account that the set of elements and procedures is very necessary, to establish a protective barrier between the patient and the external environment, to be able to perform adequate surgical management and not suffer a post-surgical complication. Objective: To establish which are the biosecurity techniques and behavior in oral surgery and the dental office to prevent cross-infection before, during, and after a dental procedure. Materials: Articles from search engines and meta-search engines were reviewed: Google Scholar, Scielo, Redalyc, Web Of Science, PubMed, and others, based on the keywords: asepsis, antisepsis, oral surgery. Methods: deductive and inductive, descriptive, analytical-synthetic, bibliographical-documentary. Conclusion: confusion about the specific meanings of asepsis and antisepsis as well as the techniques.
