Complicaciones maternos-neonatales asociados a ictericia neonatal en recién nacidos

La hiperbilirrubinemia neonatal se manifiesta como la coloración amarillenta de la piel y mucosas que refleja un desequilibrio temporal entre la producción y la eliminación de bilirrubina, las causas de ictericia neonatal son múltiples y producen hiperbilirrubinemia directa, indirecta o combinada, de severidad variable. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo determinar las complicaciones neonatales que se asocian a Ictericia neonatal en pacientes del Hospital Matilde Hidalgo de Procel de septiembre 2020 a febrero 2021, para aquello se realizó un estudio tipo cuantitativo observacional no experimental, transversal y retrospectivo como instrumento se utilizó ficha de recolección de datos, como técnica la entrevista y la observación directa; la muestra estuvo comprendida de 136 neonatos con diagnóstico de ictericia neonatal que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión, los resultados obtenidos evidencian que entre las complicaciones neonatales que se asocian a ictericia se encuentran la anemia en un 79% seguido de la encefalopatía bilirrubinica en un 21% de los casos, el principal factor de riesgo de tipo materno asociado a esta patología fue la preeclampsia en 34% y de tipo neonatal la prematurez en un 65%; la incompatibilidad ABO se identificó como la principal causa asociada a ictericia neonatal y el 69% de los casos fue tratado con fototerapia.

The present research aims to determine the maternal-neonatal complications that are associated with neonatal jaundice in patients at the Matilde Hidalgo Hospital in Procel from September 2020 to February 2021, for which a nonexperimental, cross-sectional and retrospective quantitative observational study was carried out as an instrument A data collection sheet was used, as a technique the interview and direct observation; The sample consisted of 136 neonates with a diagnosis of neonatal jaundice who met the inclusion criteria, the results obtained would show that among the neonatal complications associated with jaundice, anemia is found in 79% followed by bilirubin encephalopathy in 21 In% of the cases, the main maternal risk factor associated with this pathology was pre-eclampsia in 34% and prematurity in 65% of the neonatal type; ABO incompatibility was identified as the main cause associated with neonatal jaundice and 69% of the cases were treated with phototherapy.
