The degree work was based on the implementation of a psychoeducational program that was our systematized experience, with the objective of reviewing whether the program met the expected objectives, thus answering the central question: How did the sexual education program for the reduction of violence meet the expected objective? The methodology used was systematization of the experience with a descriptive qualitative approach with sources of information that made it possible to write and describe the experience and to make a critical reflection on the implementation of the program and the fulfillment of its objectives, concluding that the psychoeducational program did meet the expected objectives even though it was focused especially on mothers and not on adolescents as theoretically proposed from sex education programs to prevent future risks of gender violence
