The objective of this research work is the study of private telephones central in the cloud as an alternative to conventional telephone service. The investigation and the analysis of the current situation of the telephony in the cloud as a tool of business communication, the acceptability in the user companies and the availability of this alternative by companies supplying telecommunications services are shown; It is also analysedthe feasibility of telephony in the cloud compared to IP telephony through a comparative table and a functional planfor the use of the updated service. Statistical studies of Europe and Latin America are provided to know the growth of this trend in the business world, and theoretical information about conventionaltelephony, telephone centraland their various types, and IP telephony. It is finally explained in detail computing in the cloud and cloud telephony. The result of the investigation has been evidenced through surveysand interviews carried out toright persons of the user and supplier companies;to obtain the necessary data, the purpose of the project is briefly explained;statistical and analytical methods are used to measure the quantitative and qualitativedatarespectively. To demonstrate the analysisof telephony in the cloud, a pure investigation of diverse bibliographical sources had to be carried out. The functional plan is based on an alternative chosen by diversesupplier companies of power station hosted in the cloud, demonstrating data and real prices of the service.
