The project developed in this thesis displays a didactic, educational web simulator that offers the user an easy and integrated way to access a series of segments involving theoretical and practical exercises based in the Programming I syllabus, that belongs to the to the first semester. This web simulator allows the student to interact with the supporting tool to increase their motivation to learn programming in C language. For the development of the web simulator, Open Source tools such as programming, database management and design tools were used. This project benefits first year students majoring in Computer Engineering and Engineering Systems Networking and Telecommunications that belongs to the Mathematical and Physical Sciences Faculty at the University of Guayaquil.
This project will provide, in practical education, a model that can serve as the basis for creating new versions or to develop other educational simulators.
