[Espa?ol] El prop?sito de la investigaci?n es determinar si existe una relaci?n significativa entre la moralizaci?n de la comida, la percepci?n sociocultural respecto a la apariencia f?sica y los niveles de dismorfia corporal. Para realizar este estudio utilizamos una muestra de 109 participantes entre 18 a 25 a?os de edad, quienes completaron las escalas de The Food-Life Questionnaire Short Form, Sociocultural Attitudes Towards Appearance Questionnaire 4, y The Body Dysmorphic Disorder Symptom Scale. Los resultados obtenidos sugieren que existe una relaci?n estad?sticamente significativa entre las variables, evidenciando una correlaci?n positiva entre la percepci?n sociocultural en cuanto a la apariencia f?sica, los valores morales establecidos ante la alimentaci?n, y la dismorfia corporal. [English] The purpose of this study is to determine if there is a significant relation between food moralization, sociocultural perception regarding body appearance and the levels of body dysmorphia. To conduct this study, we used a sample of 109 participants between 18 and 25 years old, who completed the following scales: The Food-Life Questionnaire Short Form, Sociocultural Attitudes Towards Appearance Questionnaire-4, and the Body Dysmorphic Disorder Symptom Scale. The obtained results suggest that there is a statistically significant relation between the variables, evidencing a positive correlation between the sociocultural perception regarding body appearance, the moral values established to food and body dysmorphia.
