In geodesy, quality control (QC) is one of the most important tasks, where it’s decided whether the results obtained are validated or not. Within this context, statistical tests are still the most used tool for the detection and identification of outliers, among them the famous Data Snooping proposed by Baarda. Therefore, the understanding of the mathematical relationships between the variables involved in the statistical tests is of utmost importance not only for QC applications, but also in other fields of Geodesy such as robustness analysis and network design. Within this context, the goal of this work is to present a graph analysis of the variables involved in the QC of geodetic data through statistical tests. To reach it, some graphs involving the considered variables were presented, being it: confidence (or significance) level; test power; Type I, II and III Errors; correlation coefficients between the test statistics; degrees of freedom and non-central model parameter. Based on the results obtained, some considerations, conclusions and recommendations for future works are addressed.
