dc.description.abstract | This work consists of the development of a real-time data acquisition system of the physical variables that has some influence on the thermal efficiency of solar heaters with planar structure. The development of the system consists of making the signal conditioning from nine sensors that are used to check the solar radiation, water flow, wind speed and temperatures. Throughout a data acquisition system, signals are measured and the information is transferred to a computer and are managed through the LabVIEW software. For this reason, it was developed an application that can read the data, process, and display them to the user and store them on the computer for a long period. Furthermore, the calibration and/or parameterization of the equipment and sensors were required to develop this research, enabling the acquisition system be used for efficiency studies of solar heaters with planar structure. | |
