Resumen
This paper presents the development of SIRA, this Project proposes to implement system improvements in weapons storage depots where materials are led Police expertise. The main idea is to decrease around 20% loss and the time spent searching for objects in these deposits, replacing the conventional method of storage (using tags) solution that allows for remote identification of the elements of interest by means of radio frequency identification tags. For SIRA has been developed an apparatus capable of reading a code corresponding to a particular product and then send the information to the identification of the product to a database located on a central computer. Therefore, is was designed in terms of hardware a card that has a RFID tag reader that reading the cards, designs in its output ASCII code data recorded on them. These values below to a processing unit, the plate LaunchPad from Texas Instruments, which are stored in a buffer. These figures follow to a PC via wireless communication using a radio frequency antenna RF2400P INHAOS of using the SPI communications protocol. The data sent is received by an antenna RF-2410U INHAOS of the store in the internal buffer, this information will be processed by an Access database that will be used to search for and register the information related to that of arms RFID tag. With the developed product, was conducted some tests it was proven that the SIRA met expectations. Using this equipment, any product that passes the reader can be stored for long periods of time, and so necessary, can be retrieved any information related to this is that at any time deemed necessary.
