Resumen
The success of an enterprise is highly linked to the organization, planning and control of the executive processes of its implementation. In civil construction, project managers seek tools and methods to manage projects in order to successfully achieve the proposed objectives – especially when dealing with complex works that require tighter monitoring, which means that management practices must be followed to the letter. For this, there are software and applications that provide a prior balance of results throughout the project and allow the analysis of possible deviations from the forecast, in order to assist in the elaboration of action plans. Therefore, due to the importance of this theme in the organizations of execution and project management, it is valid the indication and instruction of use use of technological tools throughout the academic life of future professionals to enter familiar to enter familiar with the tools already at the beginning of their careers. In this context, the main objective of this work was to identify the main digital tools for the management of high complexity projects in civil construction. To this end, a bibliographical research was carried out to understand the management processes referenced by the PMBOK Guide (prepared by the Project Management Institute) and the main management digital tools were examined based on the qualitative analysis of the results of interviews with specialists from two engineering companies in the high complexity branch of Curitiba/PR – from the infrastructure and industrial works sectors. The main digital tools identified were analyzed individually from the user’s point of view and presented in a summary wheel according to their applications in the planning, execution and monitoring and control of projects. It was concluded by the work carried out that there are several tools for project management and that, regardless of their focus, different companies in the management of complex construction projects make use of common resources for this purpose.
