Resumen
A non-isolated high step-up ratio dc-dc converter based on the integrated boost-halfbridge circuit employing voltage multipliers and coupled inductors is proposed in this paper. As main features, the proposed topology presents few components, high performance and the semiconductor devices are self-clamped at maximum equal to the output voltage. In addition, a coupled inductor is used, its operation is the same as that of a transformer, which contributes to improving the system efficiency and avoiding a greater impact of the leakage inductance on the static gain. The steady state operation steps, first considering the ideal model and then considering the influence of the leakage inductance are presented. The behavior of the converter is also analyzed by inverting the polarity of one of the transformer windings. Thus, it can be seen which configuration is most attractive for the application in photovoltaic power generation systems. Finally, simulation and experimental results will be presented for the system operating with 48 and 60 V input voltage, 400 V output voltage and 400 W rated power. The switching frequency employed is 50 kHz.
