Resumen
The comitment and the organizational mood can reflect on the individual performance of the collaborators of an organization. From this, it can be inferred that the perception of these factors are means to obtain a better quality in the hospital management and the services provided. This research had as its objective to indentify the factors of commitment and organizational mood that impact on the individual performance of a hospital located in the Southwest of Paraná. The work was classified as a case study, executed via a survey. The data was collected through the application of a questionnaire to the hospital employees, totalizing a sample of 133 responders. The main results of the research are: (i) the four styles of commitment are present in the employees and impact on individual performance; (ii) the organizational mood reflect on the performance regarding the operational processes, except for remuneration; (iii) there is a level of estatistical significance between the variables presented in the study object. It is inferred that these results can affect the efficiency level of the hospital. It can be as well observed that the results obtained in the relation of mood and commitment from the collaborators view impact positively on the performance of each individual, thus reflecting on the efficiency and the quality of the services provided by the hospital.
