A interação entre universidades e empresas em pesquisa e desenvolvimento: um estudo em Pato Branco - PR

Abstract

The interaction between universities and companies has an important social and economic role, being strongly linked to carrying out Research and Development projects and fostering innovation. Thus, the present study analyzes the challenges and motivations of the interaction between university and company, in Research and Development projects, from the perspective of business and professors at the Federal Technological University of Paraná in the Pato Branco campus. For this, we used an exploratory descriptive qualitative research that had as data collection instrument two semi-structured questionnaires via Google Forms, in a non-probabilistic sample by judgment and analyzed by the Content Analysis of Bardin (2009), thus obtaining the answers 8 teachers and 8 entrepreneurs. These answers allowed us to identify important aspects related to the process of carrying out Research and Development projects, as well as 11 motivators that demonstrate benefits for both sides and 12 challenges that must be faced by organizations.
