dc.description.abstractPresently, there’s a giant range of tools that assist new entreprises to establish themselves in the market. However, in the business sphere of the base technological organizations and startups, there is the continuous and deep use of the business plan tool, considering that this kind of companies are inserted in a risky market. The business plan aims to gather a composite of informations that are valuable to the opening and management of new ventures that seek support from government organizations that back these projects up. This study aims to analise the implementation process of the business plan on the innovative management context, from its elaboration until its accomplishment, taking into consideration the possible boundaries and possibilities of the managers, employees and investors of a startup company that develops information systems for ventures like bars, restaurants, fast-food chains, among others. The company is situated at the Pato Branco - PR Technological Incubator, being 30 months in operation since its entry on the Incubator. The results were gathered via systematic procedures, delivering better comprehension of the gathered information. Given the objectives proposed by the research, categorization techniques have been used for later content analysis, reaching them in a broad way. After the analysis of the results it was possible to verify the real meaning that the people involved on the management process of a startup give to the business plan, also, the dynamics resulting from the decision making process became evident, which were based on the limiting factors and possibilities raised on the development process and on the implementation of the business plan.
