Resumen
Chemical is present in our lives, in food, in our body. In order to understand the chemistry students need to associate it transforms and events around you, so that you can solve problems and criticize arising in everyday life. The chemistry is not restricted to the theory, but that the process of teaching and learning is more effective, it is necessary to carry out experiments in order to facilitate understanding, and in this sense the theory and practice need to have a synergistic effect. Many schools have difficulties in conducting experimental classes, because they have no suitable laboratories. This work proposes simple experiments and statements made in the classroom with low-cost materials encountered in everyday life, assisting in understanding the theory. Initially a questionnaire was administered before and after applying a similar project in order to make the analysis as to the use and interest of students. Through the analysis of the questionnaires, comments and students' participation in the project, it is clear that the experimental activity in the discipline of chemistry is necessary, because the understanding of the theory is easier and the student understands what the teacher explains feels motivated to learn.
