Resumen
The current technological growth has generated, through those who consume it, a great demand for new applications and services. This scenario grows as people need new possibilities for solving everyday problems. A current challenge in automotive fleet control is to obtain real-time telemetry and tracking data to provide greater management control over monitored vehicles. This scenario happens because drivers, in general, stay far away from companies for long periods of time, making monitoring and prevention of failures harder to identify, in addition the companies cannot identify the routes chosen by their drivers. In this context, this project presents a solution through the development of specialist hardware and software, providing an alternative for companies responsible for these vehicles to manage them and make the best maintenance and driving style decisions for the drivers of their vehicles. Data are obtained via an OBDII scanner, GPS module, stored in a micro SD card module, centralized by an Arduino that manages them. For the transmission of these data, a solution via GSM/GPRS cellular network was proposed. It is also composed of software web, responsible for receiving and allowing the visualization and analysis of the collected data. For the tests were used ten vehicles from seven different manufacturers, which presented consistent results. The front-end software allowed analysis of the collected data through maps, graphs, and tables. In addition to the project’s operating results, it was possible to identify problems in two of the vehicles used for the tests, corroborating the system’s effectiveness.
