Resumen
This work aims to develop a compact multiparameter monitor, capable of monitoring patients’ vital signs continuously and noninvasive, presenting a reduced cost when compared to similar equipment on the market. The project is based on the acquisition of temperature, electrocardiogram and photoplethysmography, through dedicated modules. And the analysis and digital processing of signals in real time for data processing and obtaining blood pressure and variation of thoracic impedance, using a two-core microcontroller ESP32, programmed in C/C++ language. The hardware prototype and box was compactly developed, with a VGA connection for communication with any type of monitor that has this video input. For such, a graphical interface was created to show the user the information on the patient’s vital signs, with menus for configuring and calibrating the prototype using four physical buttons on the device box. The multiparameter monitor proved to be very efficient, with an affordable and compact, being a possible aid for the health professional in making better diagnoses, in situations where professional equipment is not usually used due to costs and lack of portability, helping to avoid errors in the classification of symptoms and patient screening.
