Resumen
Nutrition information, which must be present in processed foods, is of utmost importance to the consumer. This work aims at the development of a prototype tool for calculation of online nutrition labeling. The development of this prototype was done through the methodology proposed by the National Agency of Sanitary Surveillance (ANVISA) using the database of the Food Composition Table (TACO) of UNICAMP. The validation of this prototype was done through the test of potential users, 82% of them reported that the prototype would be usual in their day to day. The tool has proved to be an important way of helping to calculate this information, but with possible improvement items such as the database system.
