Resumen
We know that choral practice develops abilities and qualities that are not possible to develop with other activities. For example, two people talking at the same time can produce a state of annoyance and uncertainty towards the listener; however, two, three and hundreds of people singing at the same time have an aesthetic and unifying effect. In the present work it has been tried to make a compilation of different studies that reveal the benefit of the choral practice to the education in general, besides addressing the characteristics and interpretations related to the choral practice and some characteristics of the Ecuadorian musical genres used in the guide. The construction of this guide is based on the search for methodological tools accessible to the activity, and in a special way for those who do not read music, all based on parameters of the Kodaly and Ward musical methods, along with this we provide several Sheet music of Ecuadorian popular music (choral arrangements).
