Resumen
The purpose of this project is to conduct, an analysis of the most important mental and personality disorders, in order to determine the influence they may have within the criminal law.
The first chapter talks about the history of psychiatry, psychology, criminology and criminal science, which will help us to understand the concepts and the evolution of the subject.
In the second chapter we examine criminal science to understand antisociality and its development by studying antisocial personality and personality disorders most at risk to society, in that they differ from mental disorders and the importance they have for criminology and for Criminal law.
In the third chapter we conclude focusing on the field of criminal law, interpreting and justifying under what circumstances antisocial personality disorder could be taken into account for the determination of guilt, either as attenuating or exonerating criminal responsibility, providing with instruments useful to contribute to the time of judging the person who is immersed in this profile in a better way, according to Ecuadorian Criminal law in comparison to criminal legal systems of different countries, having as reference base to jurisprudence.
