Resumen
The objective of this degree work was the development of a web application and a hybrid mobile application for the management and follow-up of trials in the Law Firm “Morales & Asociados” in the city of Riobamba. Techniques such as the interview were used in order to collect the system requirements and the observation to identify the non-automated processes under which the follow-up of trials is carried out in the legal study, these techniques were also used to take time answer. The system was carried out using the agile Scrum development methodology, which allowed cooperative work between the client and the development team, in addition to solving problems as they arise, applying the methodology a total of 760 hours divided into 19 were obtained. Sprints with 18 technical stories and 29 user stories. In addition, the N-layers architecture was used with the Model-View-Controller in order to facilitate maintenance and add new functionalities in the future. Tools such as: the Java programming language, the Bootstrap framework, the MySQL database manager which allowed the storage of system information, NetBeans IDE and the PhoneGap framework for the development of the mobile part were used. In the final product the efficiency was evaluated according to the ISO 9126 standard. Taking into account the two parameters such as response times and resource utilization. It was measured in the processes enter client, enter trial, enter employee. The results obtained were that automated process times improved significantly compared to manual times with a 0.05 level of significance.
