Resumen
The present work of degree had the objective of evaluating and designing a satellite
tracking system for the monitoring and control of the land routes assigned daily in real
time for the Sindicato de Choferes Profesionales de Chimborazo (SCHPCH), With the
use of the GPS positioning system and the open-architecture device GPS TRACKER
303F makes it easy to control geocercas, GSM communication methods used for
configuration and GPRS/M2M for data communication and the adaptation of monitoring
platforms, among its main features. For its development was used the agile SCRUM
methodology with each of its stages, at the same time that was implemented with the use
java with IDE Netbeans 8.2, postgres database and mongod, applications server apache
tomcat, google map api, server node,js between the most. In conclusion it can be said that
the acceptance of the system RSIS was determined by their availability in a 99%
traceability in a 100% its efficiency in a 100% because it showed in a normal work week
and in training schedules established there are routes of land routes that are not being its
higher frequency that are partially compliant and that normally, in the cantons of
Riobamba and Cumandá. Therefore, it is noted in the RSIS facilitates the administration
of resources and of progress in the SCHPCH It is recommended that the functions of the
system RSIS can be a reference for future work of global positioning, as it merges two
technological fields of telecommunications and the development of software to resolve
the needs of today's society, at the same time with the improvement of its development
could be used in the fleets of taxis, interprovincial buses and public transportation.
