Resumen
The objective of this research study was to design an export plan that would make the commercialization of organic cocoa viable for the Association of cocoa Producers 3 de Noviembre Joya de Los Sachas Canton towards the city of Berlin-Germany in the period 2018-2019, the first step to proceed with the diagnosis of the association was the application of investigative instruments such as the survey, the interview, and the observation sheet, according to the data provided, it was known that the producers have the predisposition to sell cocoa for export purposes to improve their income levels, as well as comply with product quality controls considering that they are 100% trained for good product management; it is important to note that the product offered by the association meets the sanitary and phytosanitary requirements, the commercial invoice, the packing list and the certificates that show that it is organic cocoa, it also complies with a rigorous and strict production process in compliance with the stipulated quality parameters. Subsequently, the market study, technical and financial, was raised, the financial study demonstrated the feasibility of the project, for which the calculations of Net Current Value (NCV) resulting in $1,342,431.65, the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) represents a value of 14.87%, Cost-Benefit Ratio of 2.15 and the investment is expected to recover in approximately 4 years. It is concluded that, with the export of organic cocoa from the association, the income level of the producers will be improved, since currently organic products are widely welcomed in international markets, which means that the association has a great competitive advantage in the market.
