Resumen
The present research work consisted in the elaboration of strategic planning for the Andean grains producer and trader company "Kipa Amaranto" in the city of Riobamba, province of Chimborazo, for the period 2021 - 2025, with the objective of reaching a diagnosis and a strategic formulation that allows improving the administrative management and the correct decision making. By applying different methods, techniques, and research instruments, it was possible to determine that the activities developed by the company were handled in an empirical way, which affected the progress of the company, so it was necessary to apply strategic planning. Its implementation was based on three chapters: in the first chapter, the background of this problem was investigated and supported by the theoretical framework. Chapter two determined the focus, level, and design of the research, as well as the type of study, and established its population and sample. In chapter three, the results were analyzed and the proposal was developed with five steps: definition of the company's attributes, strategic analysis, diagnosis, strategies and objectives, and finally implementation and control. It is concluded that the company Kipa Amaranto has certain shortcomings that affect the correct performance of the company, so planning is applied in order to counteract these difficulties through the establishment of short, medium, and long-term objectives, as well as purchase and sale policies and finally strategies. It is recommended that the company "Kipa Amaranto" implement an organizational chart, implement the established projects, improve its marketing, apply the strategies in order to achieve administrative, management, and productive results that help to make the right decisions and allow the positioning of the company
