Resumen
This project was carried out in order to provide a tool to the Metálicas Snaire company that serves as a mechanism for the integration of environmental management systems, quality and safety and health at work, since with the commercial growth that is in recent years, the company must seek to be at the same level of competition and optimize its processes to ensure reliability for its ustomers.
The first activity that was carried out was the identification of the common aspects among the 3 Colombian technical standards, in order to establish the documentation that could be managed integrally. For this, a comparative matrix was designed where the chapters and requirements in common are related, accompanied by an analysis that briefly explains what the requirement consists of and why it may or may not be managed comprehensively. Once the activity was completed, it was found that although there are documents that are developed independently, there are more that can be integrated.
The next activity that was carried out was the initial diagnosis, where checklists were designed to evaluate the three systems individually. Although the percentages of implementation in the initial diagnosis were low for the quality and environment systems, there is a significant advance in documentation of the Occupational Health and Safety system, this documentation can be integrated into the quality management systems and environment. It was also evidenced that some documents are not socialized or implemented, so it is recommended to carry out a training and dissemination program once the documentation has been
integrated according to the proposal presented. Given the degree of non-compliance that was evidenced after the application of
these lists in the quality and environmental management systems, surveys and the identification of environmental aspects and impacts matrix were carried out as a complement to the Vicente Conesa methodology, where it was evidenced that the
company is incurring environmental failures due to the poor disposition of hazardous waste that results from the use of chemical products in several of the processes carried out in the organization. For this reason, within the recommendations given, the priority need to establish and implement a comprehensive hazardous waste management program is expressed.
Finally, a proposal for the integration of the three systems was designed, which is characterized by containing 6 stages: the first is to identify quality, environmental and occupational health and safety risks that may affect the development of the processes of the organization, in order to establish policies that allow introducing practices to mitigate them. The second, third and fourth phase consist of defining, comprehensively, the scope, policy and objectives respectfully. In each of these a proposal was made to be analyzed, approved and / or modified by senior management. The fifth phase consisted of defining the documents and programs
that make up the integrated management system where an additional matrix was designed with the guidelines that each document should contain according to its classification (plan, procedure, program, format). The last phase is the monitoring
and measurement for which a matrix is proposed taking into account the current legal regulations, to define the relevant indicators to measure the integrated management system.
