Resumen
Through a literature review, it is identified that in school children the issue of healthy
lifestyle habits can be affected by the social context in which the person is, it is also
recognized that physical inactivity, poor diet in terms of consumption of fruits and
vegetables, increased consumption of sugary and carbonated drinks, poor quality of sleep and
high exposure to digital screens are factors that are recognized as unhealthy habits in school
children, based on this we can say that our goal is to identify the importance of the
implementation of educational gamification in physical education, This through a gamified
strategy, which is a set of activities and processes that help or solve a problem related to
learning or education through game mechanics, the recommendation that is achieved in the
work is to implement programs that use gamification as a strategy for the promotion of good
habits of healthy living in schoolchildren, thus leaving a positive long-term impact on the
lifestyle of people.
