The degree work is registered in the macroproject Contextual Models of Therapist Training from a systemic and ecological approach that belongs to the Psychology, human systems and mental health line of the Master's Degree in Clinical and Family Psychology. The interest is placed on the modes of training of clinical psychologists and the strategies for the development of competencies in an epistemological approach to second-order cybernetics. The objective is to understand the configuration of the self-referential processes of the therapist from his emotional position in the face of the demands of the consulting system, using the theater as a device for their recognition. The research question is: How are the emotional positions of the therapist configured in relation to the consulting system in his process of self-reference through theater as a device?
The testimonial and documentary state of the art led to the understanding of the role of the psychotherapist in psychotherapy, and to the need to delve into the construction of change from work with self-referential processes. A qualitative methodology with a phenomenological design was used. The research developed three dynamic scenarios based on poor theater techniques. The information construction processes were organized from microanalysis, open and axial coding based on the methodological concepts: emotional posture, self-reference, change and the theater devices to describe the effects it had on the recognition of the emotional posture of the therapist. As results, it was found that the actor training exercises increase the understanding of the therapist's body language, as they make it possible to recognize and understand the experience through the pragmatics of the body in the interactional context with the client and how this is done in a circular and recursive way. , energizes the relationship; In this way, the potential of body language as a communicating goal of the process and the relationship is established.
