This investigation sought to determine the concentrations of lead (Pb) present in PM10 and the concentrations of bioaerosols in the breathable air of the UPZ La Sabana (Los Mártires) and San Francisco (Ciudad Bolívar). To carry out this project, the inventory of fixed sources was updated and the swaying of inconstant sources (vehicles) on the main road corridors of each sampling point, a PM10 measurement in two educational institutions located at each point (Colegio San José and Colegio Cofraternidad) and bioaerosols. The determination of lead concentrations in PM10 was performed by the method of graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry in the LIAC laboratory of La Salle University, and the characterization of bioaerosols by the API method in culture media prepared in laboratory.
The concentrations of lead and PM10 found do not exceed the permissible values according to Resolution 2254 of 2017, likewise the concentrations of bioaerosols do not exceed the infectious dose. The statistical and descriptive analysis show that there is no correlation with the health risks of the exposed population, due to the low number of lead samples analyzed in the laboratory and the absence of RIPS required for this sampling period, however, from epidemiological bulletins it was possible to establish an analysis of the morbidity by IRA that have occurred in the inhabitants of each UPZ.
