Resumen
At present the different organizations have understood that from the different internal processes begins the generation of value. One of these is the process of supplying the goods and/or services necessary for the performance of the same one that impact in a direct way the quality and opportunity of the provision of the services or delivery of the products.
Therefore, having the best suppliers in the market becomes one of the objectives of relevance for the organization, seeking to form strategic allies that contribute to the generation of competitive advantages. This requires that their management is based on a methodology aligned with the best practices in the market, which must be systematized and documented.
This supplier management starts with the acquisition planning, counting with enough tools for the selection process as objective evaluations from the different relevant aspects such as legal, financial and organizational, technical and experience as well as the analysis of the price factor with the implications of selecting a certain supplier. Then, the behavior of the commercial relationship is reviewed from different aspects determining benefits and/or affectations and ends with an expected satisfaction of the service and/or product. This allows us to identify the importance and impact of generating an adequate integral management of suppliers with the purpose of reducing costs in the operation and developing strategic allies with a long-term validity.
