"The location of the project on the future longitudinal avenue of the west and limiting with the Juan Amarillo wetland is thanks to the creation of a proposal for urban renewal. First, a master plan for the urban profile of the future Avenida Longitudinal Occidente (ALO) is created, where it is sought that this is the largest park in Bogotá and that physical barriers be removed in the Juan Amarillo wetland sector so they can connect the Bachué, Bochica, Suba and Tibabuyes neighborhoods through bicycle and pedestrian paths that are connected in a node of educational, sports and cultural facilities. The Curí Cultural Center is a place where people can express themselves freely and have a direct connection with nature, as this project ends with the Juan Amarillo wetland. This will be through the formation of spaces that allow recreation and leisure, educational and cultural activities, framed by a contrast of volumes and therefore spatiality." -- Tomado del Formato de Documento de Grado.
