Factores de riesgo cardiovascular en población urbana de Bucaramanga

Las enfermedades cardiovasculares son uno de los problemas de mayor prevalencia en salud pública, que se debe por factores de riesgos modificables y no modificables.
OBJETIVO: Describir los factores de riesgo modificables y no modificables cardiovascular en 89 pacientes incluidos en la cohorte del estudio PURE (Prospective Urban and Rural Epidemiological Study) durante el año 2015 en Bucaramanga Santander.
METODOLOGIA: Se realizó a través de visitas domiciliarias a 89 pacientes en Bucaramanga Santander.
RESULTADOS: En la población encuestada encontramos mayor prevalencia en género femenino con 77.5%, edad media: 62 años con rango de 44-77. En los factores de riesgo modificables evidenciamos una mayoría de mujeres con sobrepeso (41%) según IMC media de 26.8, hipercolesterolemia (13%), tabaquismo (4.4%), alcoholismo (7.3%), diabetes mellitus (10.1) e hipertensión (27.5%), según la clasificación de American Heart Association prevalece la pre hipertensión (37.1). En cuanto al género masculino pertenece el 22.5% de población, edad media: 60 años con rango de 50-79. Los factores de riesgo modificables se encuentra sobrepeso (50%), según IMC media de 26.91, hipercolesterolemia (40%), tabaquismo (15%), alcoholismo (25%), diabetes mellitus (10%) e hipertensión arterial (15%) y según clasificación de American Heart Association prevalece la pre hipertensión (11.2).
CONCLUSIONES: Los factores de riesgo cardiovascular NO modificables fueron: edad en rango de riesgo para mujeres (44-77) y hombres (50-79). Los factores modificables fueron: en mujeres y hombres el sobrepeso pero con porcentaje más alto en hombres; hipercolesterinemia elevada en hombres (40%), y mujeres (13%); tabaquismo más alto en hombres (15%) y mujeres (4.4%); alcoholismo 25% en el hombres y 7.3% en mujeres. Grasa corporal 80% de obesidad (masculino) y 63.8% (femenino). IMC 26.8 en mujeres y 26.91 en hombres encontrando pre obesidad en ambas poblaciones. La hipertensión fue más prevalente en género femenino (27.5%) y hombres con (15%). The modifiable risk factors is located overweight (50%), according IMC mean 26.91, hypercholesterolemia (40%), smoking (15%), alcohol (25%), diabetes mellitus (10%) and hypertension (15%) and according to American Heart Association classification prevails pre hypertension (11.2).
CONCLUSIONS: Cardiovascular risk factors NO modifiable were: risk age range for women (44-77) and men (50-79). Modifiable factors were: in overweight men and women but with higher percentage in men; hypercholesterolemia is higher in men (40%), and women (13%); highest smoking men (15%) and women (4.4%); alcoholism in men 25% and 7.3% in women. Fat corporal 80% of obesity (male) and 63.8% (female). 26.8 IMC in women and 26.91 in men, finding pre obesity in both populations, the hypertension was more prevalent in females (27.5%) and men (15%).
