dc.description.abstractThis work is about determining the viability technician ‐ economic of a generation project of electricity starting from the eolic energy and it compares it with the traditional methods. The advantages are obtained economic and environmental when substituting the current outlines with those proposed. First settle down in a brief way the general panorama from the energy ones to world level, remarking the important aspects of the because to position to the clean energies and in particular to the eolic one as sources alternating that substitute gradual and partially to the fossil fuels. We continues with the explanation of the mechanisms of wind and the technical aspects of the eolic energy. Later on the localization of the project settles down in the Sonda de Campeche and Litoral de Tabasco, by means of software of having processed statistical the meteorological data of the place are analyzed, obtained of six meteorological monitors stations property of PEMEX EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION (PEP), for to evaluate the eolic potential of the area. With the characterization of the obtained winds, it is determined if the project is viable from the point of view technician. Once confirmed this point, the most appropriate technology is selected for the conditions of predominant wind and the characteristics of the area, we combined the information of wind and of those selected eolic turbines and after that we obtain the energy curves wich show us the quantity of energy that we will obtained during the life of the one project. Of the available literature, the costs average are obtained for the construction of an eolic power station in the offshore, the operation costs and maintenance during the life of the project and the revenues average for sale of the energy. With these data, a financial analysis is made that provides us the profitability or the financial viability of the project. To determine if the project continues being profitable under the extreme conditions, we are carried out an analysis of sensibility varying the data that could affect the indicators of the project. It is important to mention that the chapters I and II are the necessary because they are antecedents for the entrance to chapters III and IV, which it is since the true contribution of this work to this author's point of view is carried out the evaluation of the eolic potential of the Sonda de Campeche and of the Litoral de Tabasco, for to determine if the projects of eolic energy are viable from the technical and financial point of view.
