dc.description.abstractIn democratic school management, the evaluation function is to support the teacher with evidence for a continuous reflection on their practice, on the creation of new tools to work and resumption of aspects to be reviewed, adjusted or recognized for the process of individual learning or collective. From such questions, this monographic report aims to analyze the relationship between assessment and school management, pointing to the critical analysis and more consistent with the interaction between assessment and school organization. Nurture a greater reflection of the educator about the true meaning of educational assessment and school management practices associated with their educational and institutional. Thus, literature search was performed with a qualitative approach. It was found that a design dialectic assessment requires a change of attitude by the teacher and the school. The school management in turn, assists in building a theoretical and practical planning to ensure that education is made with the best quality for all, allowing this way, the school fulfills its social function and its political role institutional.
