Rosas sem medo: o jornalismo ciberativista e a informação como empoderamento no site Think Olga

Abstract

The present work aimed to understand the feminist cyber-activism made by the journalistic website Think Olga through through its journalism proposal, which links information, opinion and humanized journalism (a concept suggested in the Minimanual of Humanized Journalism, launched in 2016 by the non-governmental organization Think Olga). For the study, eleven reports that deal with violence against women were analyzed, observing the journalistic characteristics of the texts, the language used, the evidence of opinion and editorial opinion and the marks of humanized journalism. Initially, this research focused, through a theoretical basis focused on cyber-activism and feminism, on reading and analyzing the structure of the Think Olga website. Specifically, it was first studied its internal organization, trying to describe and explain the information architecture, the function and the importance of the divisions; and, in the sequence, we analyze the reports in their traditional and innovative aspects, aiming to understand the journalistic and cyber ativistic procedure of the portal. The discussion of this research was centered on the concept of empowerment, related to social minorities, and its connection with cyber-activism through digital journalism. Thus, the interpretive analysis reflected on the ways in which the cyber-feminism proposed by the feminist page happens and how it brings other perspectives to women, problematizing male chauvinism and promoting the empowerment of this group. Finally, it was concluded that, using mostly opinion texts allied to data and quotes from sources, Think Olga's textual narrative was concerned to promote the reflection, empowerment and changes that the feminist movement proposes. However, it seeks to do it humanly and engaged through the informative and instructive method of journalism

O presente trabalho teve como objetivo a compreensão do ciberativismo feminista feito pelo portal jornalístico Think Olga através de sua proposta de jornalismo, que une opinião, informação e jornalismo humanizado. Para o estudo, foram analisadas onze reportagens que abordam a violência contra a mulher, observando as características jornalísticas dos textos, a linguagem utilizada, os indícios de opinião e opinião editorializada e as marcas do jornalismo humanizado. Em um primeiro momento, esta pesquisa se concentrou, através de uma base teórica voltada ao ciberativismo e ao feminismo, na leitura e análise da estrutura do site Think Olga. Em específico, inicialmente foi estudada sua organização interna, buscando descrever e explicar a arquitetura da informação, a função e a importância das divisões; e, na sequência, analisamos as reportagens em seus aspectos tradicionais e inovadores, tendo como objetivo compreender a atuação jornalística e ciberativista do portal. A discussão desta pesquisa teve como ponto central o conceito de empoderamento, relacionado a minorias sociais, e a sua ligação com o ciberativismo através do jornalismo digital. Sendo assim, a análise interpretativa refletiu sobre de que maneiras o ciberativismo proposto pela página feminista acontece e como ele traz outras perspectivas às mulheres, problematizando o machismo e promovendo o empoderamento desse grupo. Por fim, concluiu-se que, utilizando-se de textos majoritariamente opinativos aliados a dados e citações de fontes, a narrativa textual da Think Olga mostrou-se preocupada em promover a reflexão, o empoderamento e as mudanças que o movimento feminista propõe. No entanto, busca fazê-lo de maneira humana e engajada por meio do método informativo e instrutivo do jornalismo
