This report aims to present the professional practice results in which an analysis of the strategy kiosks employed by the Public Network Provision User Services Public Space (REDEP) of the Institute for Social Economy was held (IPES ) for the relocation of street vendors in the city of Bogota. Street vendors, have become a social problem with significant impact on the city, however, REDEP and its strategies are conceived from the perspective of the economic use of public space, leaving aside other perspectives and demonstrating a deficiency in the design, implementation and monitoring of the strategy kiosks. Documentary reviews to identify the predominant approaches to the characterization of the informal vendors, the structure and operation of the REDEP, conceptions and predominant readings in public district policies on the phenomenon of street vending, and himself developed, will explore the conceptualizations of urban poverty, informal economy and decent work, the approach of the decision to remain in the informal sector describes itself. Interviews structured and semi-structured interviews with street vendors to inquire about the ideas, meanings and feelings they have about their work, interactions that occur in space they use, why they play performed this activity, their perceptions and experiences against intervention by the district authorities. We sought to accompany sellers during daily full days to perform work of ethnographic observation allowed to triangulation of information. A documentary review of direct and indirect sources and mainly documentary sources, which allowed us to understand the configuration of the problem and how has intervened since REDEP strategy was also developed. The document is also based on a comparable follow-up to descriptive exercise, since it lacks the full access to evidence for a thorough evaluation exercise, the analysis takes up elements of traditional systems based on compliance and results.
