El transfuguismo politico en el sistema de partidos en Colombia en el marco de los actos legislativos 01-2003 y 01-2009

Abstract

This work seeks to examine how the modified elements in the Legislative Act 01 of 2003 and 01 2009`S Colombian Electoral System, known as: unique list, proporcional representation, and electoral threshold, formed the political turncoat originated in the Colombian`s 2006 and 2010 legislative elections. The research will start with the turncoat phenomenon`s explanation and its related causal variables, and the analysis of the Congress Republic elections prior to political reform as well. This research will help to understand the elements effects, modified in the 2006 and 2010 legislative elections in the electoral system with the turncoat practice.
