The global urban management models incorporate the natural land in the planning and the development of urban areas as a fundamental structure because their ecosystems functions and environmental goods providers, including Biodiversity and Conservation of environments with landscape quality, among others. The main objective of this research is keep a track and a characterization of the strategic ecosystem biological corridor North Rim in the City of Bogotá, in order to identify and display the critical Aspects that must be taken into account in the policy and instruments planning to the treatment of this area. On the development of this research were applied the urban ecology´s methodological notions, beginning with a diagnostic phase and characterization of the actual situation, followed of the alternatives formulation with emphasize in the ecologic restoration. In the diagnostic was able to identify that, although there were in the land conditions the availability of water and vegetation cover, exists a great real-estate pressure in the area, which has promoted the alteration in the plots, making urgent the integral treatment of ecological restoration of this corridor that allows the recovery of the ecosystem function providing benefits to the city.
