Resumen
This paper arises from the questioning of the reasons that led the U.S. to develop in a short time a lot of relationships, many of them of great importance, with a state that generally lacked importance in its foreign policy, India. We propose that the reason behind the emergence of such relations is the new distribution of power in the region of Asia, the importance of China and the emerging relationships between China, Russia and India.
