This study aims to show success factors
Social Responsibility program Cardioinfantil Foundation, taking into
that this institution has become a benchmark for social commitment
and sustainability in the health sector and institutions of fourth level
complexity. visits were made to achieve this objective and applied a
instrument in the Cardioinfantil Foundation and four institutions more of the same
level of care in the cities of Bogota, Cali and Medellin, where
generously provided information about the development of their programs
Social responsibility and application of the topics contained in the ISO
26000 within their institutions. Also within the Foundation Cardioinfantil
an interview was conducted with the person in charge of developing the program,
who said the details of how this and the efforts
to achieve differentiation in the health sector. Through this journey through the
different health institutions consulted and research in the
SWOT matrix foundation Cardioinfantil one revealed to us the lack of took place
Communication improvements in the various health organizations,
once they have detected failures inherent in his performance with groups
interest. The adoption of international standards for governance and
implementation of CSR programs is still emerging in the health sector
general. It is also possible to highlight the fact that CSR programs
developed at the level of the foundation Cardioinfantil evolve towards
innovation in the quality of care and the transformation of their organizations
towards continuous improvement.
