Resumen
The folowing paper, analyzes the impact of the Japan International Cooperation to Colombia, studying the transformation of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) implemented during the period 2003-2008. To this end, it began with a historical recount of the activity of the Agency until 2003, in both its international and domestic environment. Afterwadrs determining the various challenge-factors faced during the suggested period; it"s administrative and budgetary reorganization, as the new international challenges. It also evaluates the responses implemented, concluding in a significative decrease of the aid to Colombia, but with incentives to its improvement in the medium term. The paper theoretical bases are the approach to international cooperation raised by Robert Keohane and the basic model of action or organizational change proposed by Ernst Haas.
