Resumen
Since the disintegration of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) in 1992, the Russian Federation, new nation that emerged from the communist collapse, began a process of rapprochement and integration into the Western market system and the adoption of a new economic system for the country. In this sense, it began a process of accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO), an organization almost all countries with large dynamic trade. The negotiations were marked by great tensions arising from pressure groups inside and outside Russia, an issue analyzed from the theory of complex interdependence After nearly 20 years of talks, the process was completed successfully and now the Russian Federation operates as one of the most important WTO members in different areas and with different economic interests.
