In Colombia, sugar cane production is craft basically, thus does not register
a great volume of exports. This product commonly is known as substitute of the
sugar and within the country its consumption is almost equal to its production. In
spite of the previous thing, with the present project we are looking for to open
spaces of commercialization of sugar cane towards the outside, more specifically
to the city of New York - the United States, directed to the Latin population that is in
this city.
In order to stimulate the sales of our product, we will make emphasis on the
benefits, nutritional and medicinal, of sugar cane that is not yet known by the
objective market. In addition, according to the market research made, the
presentations with greater welcome by the consumers are: granulated sugar cane
and sugar cane in cubes that will be commercialized in plastic bottles and
cardboard boxes respectively. For both references the presentations will be
identified with the logo of the company, in addition to the flag of our country. The
packing in its label will show the nutritional table as its form of preparation, the
label is in both languages: English and Spanish.
Finally, the used term of negotiation will be FOB Colombian port, with
payment means credit letter since it offers confidence and security to take to happy
term the agreed agreement in a foreign trade negotiation
