Resumen
The Visegrád Group is a stage of multilateral cooperation, formed by Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, that seeks to pursue the interests of those countries through cultural projects funding. The interest of this monograph is to determine the incidence of cultural cooperation on V4 member States identity and, therefore, on the way they project themselves in the European Union. Thus, the main historical facts that have molded V4 countries interests and led to the creation of a solid institutional structure, which has served as a platform for action within the European system, are identified. Alexander Wendt’s constructivist perspective has been used to understand the nature of cooperation and its relationship with State’s identities and interests.
