Resumen
The profile based on competencies established by the Federal Council of the Judiciary of Mexico for the position of court clerk (acting as assistant to judges and magistrates) has an inchoate definition that limits the eventual management of their jurisdictional function. With the intention of contributing to the solution of this problem, the purpose of this research is to suggest a model of the profile by competencies of court clerks of the judicial circuit court and district court in Mexico. With this in mind, a qualitative documentary research method is used. The results allow us to define five key competencies (relational, functional, analytical, personal and technical) that court clerks should develop to fill that position
