Limitaciones y obstáculos de MINUSTAH en materia de cooperación humanitaria y desarrollo en Haití (2000-2014)
Herrera Cañavera, Candy Lorena
This case study aims to analyze the constraints and obstacles that the stabilization mission, MINUSTAH, has faced in the process of rebuilding Haiti before, during and after the earthquake of 2010. It also seeks to identify the elements that have made MINUSTAH a mission whose initial goal of political stabilization was oriented towards humanitarian aid because of a natural disaster such as an earthquake in 2010. To this extent and within the framework of international development cooperation, this case study pretends to evaluate the process and progresses for MINUSTAH’s role in strengthening of the Haitian state.
